E Rady (b. 1996, Sarasota, FL) is a Syrian-American transdisciplinary visual artist who utilizes performance, video, and installation to critically examine the power dynamics surrounding Queer identity, ethnicity, and nationalism within the imperial landscape of the United States. Their performance philosophy centers on facilitating a circumstance where the body becomes a vessel to explore and challenge notions of truth, agency, and power: how each is obtained, given, taken away, reinforced, or validated. Their practice often chases uncertainty — placing themselves into simulated scenarios that have controlled elements and parameters, but variable unknowns in their results.

Within all of this remains the capacity to resolve, some of it might be muscle memory. 

In 2025, E obtained their MFA from Hunter College with a concentration in New Genres. Their most recent exhibitions include a performance at Brief Histories in New York and an installation presented at Counter Pulse in San Francisco, each part of an ongoing arts collective series, Text 2 Speech.
